Preparation: Make sure that the cut edges and butt edges are dry and free of dust and sawdust. If necessary, you can cleanly remove existing butt joints from larger products from 10 cm in height or projection with turpentine or white spirit. Application: Check the processing temperature, which is in the range of 5 degrees to 35 degrees (ideally: 15 degrees to 25 degrees). Make sure the ambient temperature is within this range for optimal adhesion. Take out the Adefix Plus glue and prepare it according to the instructions on the packaging. Apply the adhesive evenly to the butt joints. Be careful not to let the glue ooze out excessively. Make a joint with a width of 2-3 mm between the butt joints. This joint allows the material to expand properly. After the adhesive has been applied and the joint formed, we recommend filling the adhesive joint with Adefix Plus. This achieves an even and seamless surface. Please note the recommended adhesive consumption of approx. 35 butt joints per Adefix Plus packaging unit.
